Steve Sams' overview of "Binge and Purge"
Binge and Purge is a fantasy story about a mage named Binge, and a swordsman named Purge. What makes them so special, you might ask? Binge can use the legendary Dragon Magic – but only when he is really, REALLY drunk. Purge is one of the best sword fighters there is – but he has no purpose for his skills, no leader to serve. These two happen to meet one night, in less than friendly circumstances, and it’s a good thing they did, or there wouldn’t be anything to write about. . . This story takes place in the Slayers universe. There are only a few references to characters from that series, but it helps to know the two major ones.
